Portable Toilet Rental Questions

Pricing, servicing, permits, toiletries and access. The things people ask us before they book.

How much does a porta potty rental cost in Brooklyn?

It depends on the unit type, how long you keep it and how often it needs servicing. A standard unit on a weekly service for a construction site prices differently from a restroom trailer for a one-day wedding.

Call Brooklyn Porta Potty Relief at (929) 571-3935, describe the job, and you will get a real number on the phone with delivery, servicing and pick-up already included.

Can you deliver the same day?

Often, yes — it depends on what is already loaded and where the trucks are that morning. Same-day drops are easiest when you call early. If we cannot make it today, we will tell you straight away and book the earliest window we can hold.

How often does the unit get serviced?

You pick the frequency when you book. Weekly is standard for a small crew. Busy sites and public events usually need two or three visits a week, and multi-day festivals sometimes need daily servicing.

Every service is a pump-out, an interior scrub, a deodorize and a restock of paper and sanitizer.

Do the portable toilets come stocked with toiletries?

Yes. Every portable toilet leaves our yard stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and the deluxe flushing units and hand wash stations also get soap and paper towels.

We top the toiletries back up at every service visit, so you are not the one buying supplies and walking them out to the unit.

Do I need a permit to place one on the street?

If the unit sits on private property — a yard, a driveway, inside a fenced site — you generally do not. If it goes on the sidewalk or in the roadway, the city expects a permit, and that is on the property owner or the event organizer to pull.

Tell us where you want it and we will flag whether it looks like a permit situation before the truck rolls.

How many units do I need for my event?

The rough rule is one unit per 50 guests for a four-hour event, and you add units as the hours go up or if alcohol is being served. Public events also need at least one ADA accessible unit.

Give us the headcount and the run time on the phone and we will do the math with you.

Can a truck reach a tight Brooklyn street or a rear yard?

Usually. Our drivers work these blocks every day and are used to one-ways, narrow lanes and walk-downs through a side gate. When you call, tell us where the truck can stop and how far the unit has to travel from there, and we will plan the drop around it.

What happens at the end of the rental?

Call us or tell us at booking, and we schedule the pick-up. The crew pumps the unit out, loads it and leaves the spot clean. Pick-up is part of the quoted price, not an add-on.
